We are only 3 miles from the historic city of York with it’s many attractions, restaurants and public houses. (click here).
Within walking distance of the site are Maxi’s Chinese Restaurant and takeaway, Wetherby Whaler Fish and Chip Restaurant and takeaway and The Millfield, a Beefeater Bar and Grill.
Three village pubs and two cafes, the Lemon Tree and Café Refresh, are also within a 15 minute walk. We can highly recommend the White Horse Public House on the village green and booking in advance is advisable at peak times. Slightly further afield, but still walkable there is Luigi’s Italian Restaurant next to Poppleton Garden Centre.
